[Aikido] Fw: Flyer: upcoming Tai Chi Courses

I have talked about Tai Chi with several of you and you have expressed interest in knowing when there would be a beginners course.  One course will be held at the Herb Graham Memorial Recreation Centre on Manning Road - about 2 Ks. East of the Freeway.  The other will be in Nedlands - I don't know the venue.  I am currently 5 weeks into this introductory course ( having dropped out from the short form course in December 2004 because of prostate surgery and work pressures ) and I do recommend it.  I believe there  are distinct health and strength benefits. Also you can continue to practise it, and benefit, into advanced years (70's; 80's).  I do think, however, that it would take years of training before being "combat ready" with Tai Chi alone.

Here is the flyer for distribution, for the upcoming Tai Chi courses.  



How have you found learning Tai Chi so far?  How has it benefited you in anyway?  Do you enjoy learning from the Academy?  We certainly try our best to help students get the most of out their training with us and help them to enjoy good results from it.  If you agree, please do mention our upcoming courses to others who you think would benefit from learning Tai Chi with us also and invite them to come!



Though the flyer only has the details of one of the courses, we actually have two new courses starting together, running in parallel, at two different locations and times.  We hope that this will cater to more people in various suburbs.
